A studio/bedroom wing has been added to this existing home, designed to take advantage of the spectacular views to Dublin Bay, and nestling comfortably into the sloping site. Low energy, responsible design was a requirement of the brief so advantage has been taken of the environmental conditions and orientation of the building which incorporates low temperature radiant slabs and walls and a bio mass boiler. Glazed links allow the landscape to connect with the living spaces and connect the new spine of the home to the external circulation routes.
