Our proposal carefully considered the existing structure and reinstated the building from a group of flats into a family home as was originally intended. The rear of the house is modified in order to create a light filled kitchen with a library mezzanine + balcony above. The original openings of the shell were reinstated to allow light to penetrate the heavy brick structure of the building and a staircase has been included to link the ground floor to the basement below. The master bedroom returns to its orginal size and a grand bathroom sits adjacent.
